Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health
Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate contract in Denton, TX. This vital role focuses on behavioral health services within a State Supported Living Center, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care. Pay Package:
$46 per hour
Required Skills:
Current and valid Texas (or compact state) RN license
Minimum of 2 years of related experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices and patient care standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team and under supervision
Preferred Education and Experience:
Relevant nursing experience in behavioral health or mental health settings
Prior experience working within a state-supported or similar facility
Other Requirements:
Must pass a criminal record check as mandated by state law
Availability for 8-hour day shifts
Compliance with all facility-specific policies and procedures
