Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and motivated Registered Nurse to join a 13-week obstetrics contract in Denver City, TX. This vital role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced acute care setting, supporting postpartum, newborn nursery, and mother/baby units. Join a team committed to excellence and make a meaningful impact in patient lives while advancing your nursing career.
Pay Package:
Compensation includes a pay rate of $32 per hour, supplemented by a weekly stipend of $1,224. Additional benefits include travel and housing stipends, along with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Required Skills:
Valid Texas RN license (or compact state license)
Experience in postpartum, newborn nursery, or mother/baby units
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring
Ability to work night shifts, on a 7 on/7 off schedule
Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and neonatal care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
Registered nursing license with relevant obstetrics and neonatal experience
Prior experience in acute care or maternity settings is preferred
Demonstrated ability to adapt to shift work and fast-paced environments
Other Requirements:
Must pass criminal record check in compliance with state law
Ability to work night shifts, 12-hour schedule
Willingness to adhere to all facility and agency policies and procedures
