Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as a Hospice Registered Nurse for an immediate 13-week contract in Fort Worth, TX. This vital role offers the opportunity to deliver compassionate, family-centered care in a hospice setting, ensuring patients experience dignity, comfort, and support during their final stages of life. Your expertise will directly impact patients and their families through holistic care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and expert symptom management.
Pay Package:
$30 per hour plus a $1,000 weekly stipend.
Required Skills:
Valid and current RN license in Texas or from a compact state.
Proven hospice care experience.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Ability to assess pain and develop individualized management plans.
Skilled in symptom prevention, intervention, and patient education.
Proficient in maintaining electronic medical records with accuracy and compliance.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Capable of supporting patients’ spiritual and cultural needs with sensitivity.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
Prior experience in hospice or palliative care settings.
Other Requirements:
Must pass a state or federal criminal record check as mandated by law.
Shift: 8-hour days.
Ability to work compassionately in emotionally demanding environments.
