Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as a Registered Nurse (RN) on a critical 8-week contract in Lafayette, LA, specializing in Med/Surg. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hospital setting, delivering essential patient care while advancing your professional skills. Pay Package:
$26 per hour plus a weekly stipend of $1,200.
Required Skills:
Valid Louisiana RN license
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Med/Surg nursing
Current BLS certification
Strong background in Orthopedics, Neurology, and Trauma care
Excellent patient assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred but not required)
Prior experience in hospital Med/Surg units with trauma or neuro specialties
Other Requirements:
Must pass a criminal record check as mandated by state law
Availability for a night shift (12-hour shifts)
Ability to work in Lafayette, LA for the duration of the contract
Must have current and valid BLS certification
