Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Specialty
Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare team on a 13-week contract in Marysville, KS. This critical role involves providing exceptional patient care in a hospital setting, supporting recovery and well-being through your expertise and compassion. If you’re a qualified RN with a passion for medical-surgical nursing and ready for a rewarding travel assignment, this opportunity is perfect for you.
Pay Package:
Compensation includes $30 per hour plus an additional $1,100 weekly stipend, ensuring competitive pay and rewarding work.
Required Skills:
Current and valid Kansas (or compact state) RN license
Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Knowledge of patient care procedures and documentation accuracy
Ability to work night shifts (12-hour nights) with endurance and professionalism
Preferred Education and Experience:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical-surgical nursing is required
ACLS certification is highly preferred
Other Requirements:
Must pass a criminal record check as per state law
Ability to work night shifts for the duration of the contract
Commitment to patient safety and team collaboration
No license or certification requirements beyond BLS (ACLS preferred)
