Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as a dedicated Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in beautiful Rapid City, South Dakota. This immediate 13-week contract offers an exceptional opportunity to provide vital care during one of life's most meaningful moments. As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in maternal and fetal health, supporting mothers and families through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. If you’re an experienced L&D RN seeking a rewarding travel assignment with excellent support, this is your chance to make a difference.
Pay Package:
$2,760 per week with MOB 250
Required Skills:
Valid RN license for South Dakota
Minimum of 2 years of L&D experience
Proficiency in maternal & fetal monitoring, labor assistance, postpartum care, and emergency response
Strong patient education and emotional support skills
Ability to recognize and respond to labor/delivery complications effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Additional certifications such as BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring (if required)
Other Requirements:
Must hold a current SD RN license
Availability to start on 09/24/2025 for a 13-week assignment
No travel or shift requirements specified beyond assignment details
Must be able to work full-time during the contract duration
Ability to respond to emergencies and work in fast-paced environments
