RN (Registered Nurse) - Operating Room | 12 hour days
Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for an RN (Registered Nurse) for a 26 week contract in Topeka, KS.

Location: Topeka, KS
Facility Type: Acute Care
Pay Rate: $40Â per hour + $1,200 weekly stipend
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift/Hours: 12 hours | Days
Requirements:
Current and valid Kansas (or compact state) RN (Registered Nurse) license required
Must be a seasoned traveler and have several years of experience in the OR
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
Duties include:
Prepares patients for surgery by completing preoperative assessments and verifying consents.
Ensures patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Maintains a sterile field and adheres to strict aseptic techniques.
Assists the surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, and other supplies during procedures (scrub role if required).
Monitors patients’ vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall condition intraoperatively.
Documents all aspects of surgical care, including assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes.
