Start Date: ASAP – Let’s get you started quickly!
Emergency Room RN Job Responsibilities: As a skilled Emergency Room RN, you’ll:
Triage and assess patients quickly and efficiently
Deliver fast, life-saving care during emergencies
Administer medications, IV therapies, and wound care
Monitor patient vitals and document care accurately
Collaborate with ER physicians and hospital teams
Provide education to patients and families on treatment and aftercare
Respond to codes, trauma calls, and critical situations with confidence
Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital policies
Participate in training and continuous education to stay ER-ready
Emergency Room RN Requirements:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas (or compact license)
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Trauma and critical care experience preferred
