Overview:
Join our multidisciplinary team as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Cath/IR procedures. In this pivotal role, you will operate advanced diagnostic cardiac equipment, monitor patient vitals, and support physicians during complex interventions. Your expertise will directly contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring precise imaging and safety throughout each procedure.
Pay Package: $38 per hour with a weekly stipend of $1,200
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an allied health professional in interventional radiologic settings
Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to document accurately and perform complex, detail-oriented tasks
Effective interpersonal skills for working with diverse internal and external stakeholders
Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures quickly
Competency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call coverage, nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences (preferred)
Certification from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiologic technology
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and digital imaging systems (PACS)
Other Requirements:
Associate degree in radiologic sciences required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including on-call, nights, weekends, and holidays
Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and experience in emergency response readiness
