Job Title: Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health (6-Month Contract)
Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 6-month contract at a State Supported Living Center in Corpus Christi, TX. This critical role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact within the behavioral health specialty, providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment. Pay Package:
$46 per hour
Required Skills:
Valid RN license in Texas
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong understanding of behavioral health care practices
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Commitment to patient safety and compliance standards
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience working in behavioral health settings or mental health facilities
Experience with state-supported living centers or similar environments
Other Requirements:
Must possess a current, valid Texas RN license
Criminal record check as mandated by state law for employment eligibility
Shift: 8-hour daytime shifts
Ability to adapt to the needs of a state-supported living environment
