Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Overview:
Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in critical care. This vital role involves delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care through the effective use of nursing skills and interdisciplinary collaboration. You will play a key part in assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a positive environment for patients and staff alike.

Pay Package: $26 per hour with weekly stipend of $1,200
Schedule: 6:45pm - 7:15am

Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey information clearly and professionally
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Good judgment and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Adept at applying the nursing process for patient care delivery
  • Ability to assess learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies for patients and their families
  • Capable of managing resources effectively, including human and fiscal elements
  • Maintains current knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and standards applicable to healthcare

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Over 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a ER setting

Other Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Ability to perform heavy physical work, including exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and frequently, and 10 to 20 pounds constantly
  • Willingness to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially communicable diseases
  • Compliance with all safety protocols and occupational health standards, including handling hazardous medications and waste
