Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team as a Float Nurse. This vital role offers the opportunity to provide top-tier patient care across multiple units, including ICU, Med/Surg/Tele, and Emergency Department, ensuring seamless coverage and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Pay: $2,568 Weekly
Shift: 6:45pm - 7:15am
Required Skills
Valid RN license in New York
AHA BLS certification is required
Minimum of 2 years ICU experience or 2 years ED experience with triage skills
At least 1 year of Med/Surg/Tele experience
Proficient in Epic electronic medical record system
Strong ability to adapt to different clinical environments and patient acuity levels
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively
Nice to Have Skills
Experience as a Charge Nurse
Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS
Prior experience in triage or emergency response
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in ICU, ED, or Med/Surg/Tele units
Other Requirements
Must be willing to work every other weekend and holiday shifts
Ability to navigate multiple units and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Flexibility to cover shifts in ICU, Med/Surg/Tele, or ED as needed
