Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as a dedicated RN L&D travel nurse and become an essential part of delivering exceptional maternal and newborn care. This rewarding opportunity allows you to showcase your expertise in labor and delivery, supporting mothers through one of life’s most significant moments. We prioritize your professional growth and work-life balance, providing comprehensive support throughout your assignment.
Pay Package:
Weekly pay of $1,800
Required Skills:
Valid state RN license
Minimum of 1+ year of labor and delivery experience
Current AWONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong patient assessment skills
Ability to support and comfort patients during labor
Proficiency in medication administration, including pain relief and epidurals
Experience assisting with childbirth procedures, such as C-sections and assisted deliveries
Competence in maternal monitoring and postpartum care
Skills in newborn assessment and immediate care
Excellent documentation in EMR systems
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Emergency response capabilities during labor and delivery
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred
Experience in high-volume or complex labor and delivery units
Other Requirements:
Must hold current and valid state licensure
Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts as required
No additional certifications required beyond those specified in skills section
Travel and housing stipends provided
Ability to start on 9/19/2025 for a 13-week assignment
