Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse on a 13 week contract in Liberal, KS.Â
Details:
Specialty: Labor & Delivery
Location: Liberal, KS
Pay Rate: $60 per hour
Shift/Hours:Â 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience with a current KS license, BLS, ACLS and NRP.
Must have successfully completed 2 travel contracts, no first-time travelers.
No locals accepted
Required to assist with postpartum, couplet care, newborn nursery and OBGYN post op patients
Duties Include:Â
Taking vitals for the mom and babyÂ
Administering medicationÂ
Monitoring contractionsÂ
Identifying complications during labor and deliveryÂ
Communicating the mom’s condition and needs to the PhysicianÂ
Coaching the mom during labor and deliveryÂ
Caring for the mom after she gives birthÂ
Providing emotional supportÂ
