Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery - 12 hour days
Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for an RN (Registered Nurse) for a 13 week contract in Chanute, KS.

Pay Rate: $40 per hour + $1,000 weekly stipend + $65 per hour OT
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift/Hours: 12Â hours |Â Days
Requirements:
Current and valid Kansas (or compact state) RN (Registered Nurse) license required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certification from the American Heart Association is required
Duties Include:
Monitoring maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and postpartum
Assessing labor progression and performing cervical checks
Evaluating contraction patterns and documenting labor stages
Responding to complications like fetal distress or preeclampsia
Assisting in vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Maintaining a sterile delivery room environment
Performing neonatal resuscitation as needed
Collaborating with OB/GYNs, midwives, and other healthcare staff
