Pay Rate: $43 per hour
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift/Hours: 10 hours | 5:30am-3:30pm
Requirements:
Current and valid Texas (or compact state) RN (Registered Nurse) license required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
Duties Include:
Ensure patient safety by verifying the correct surgical site and procedure (e.g., through surgical site marking).
Confirm that the patient’s consent has been obtained and is on file.
Set up the operating room with sterile instruments and equipment.
Assist in preparing the patient (e.g., ensuring correct positioning, managing anesthesia equipment).
