Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse for an exciting 13-week travel assignment in Elk City, OK. This vital role offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic acute care setting, supporting surgical teams and ensuring safety at every step. If you are an experienced RN seeking a rewarding travel opportunity, this position is your chance to make a difference while enjoying a collaborative and supportive environment.
Pay Package:
$30 per hour + $1,200 weekly stipend
Required Skills:
Current and valid Oklahoma (or compact state) RN license
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience as an RN within the last 2 years
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to verify patient identity, review medical histories, and ensure informed consent
Skilled in preparing surgical sites and equipment, maintaining sterility, and assisting with patient positioning
Strong documentation skills and the ability to monitor for breaches in sterility or safety
Excellent communication and emotional support skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience in an Operating Room setting preferred
Proven ability to manage the overall environment of the OR in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Other Requirements:
Must pass a criminal record check as required by state law
Travel, shift flexibility, and willingness to work Monday-Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
