Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract in Oklahoma City, OK (surrounding areas)—perfect for RNs willing to travel for a high-paying assignment. Assignment Details
Current and valid Oklahoma RN license (or compact state license)
Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience within the last 2 years
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Strong knowledge of OR procedures, safety, and sterile technique
Key Responsibilities
Verify patient identity, review medical history, and ensure informed consent
Prepare surgical site, instruments, and equipment
Explain procedures and provide emotional support to patients
Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient OR environment
Document procedures and assist with patient positioning
Monitor for breaches in sterility or safety
Retrieve additional supplies and equipment as needed
