Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Psych Registered Nurse to join a reputable Behavioral Health Facility in Clive, Iowa. This critical role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in mental health care while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. If you are an experienced RN with a passion for behavioral health, this position provides a chance to advance your career on a rewarding 12-week assignment.
Pay Package:
$50 per hour, with weekly direct deposit and additional travel and housing stipends available.
Required Skills:
Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum of 2 years' experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred but not required)
Previous experience in a behavioral health facility or psychiatric unit
Familiarity with psychiatric treatments and patient management in a fast-paced environment
Other Requirements:
Valid state nursing license
Ability to work overnight shifts as scheduled
No additional certifications required beyond BLS, but additional relevant certifications are a plus
