Job Description

We have an immediate opening for RN Cath Lab
 
Specialty: Cath Lab RN
Location: Fort Worth
Facility type: Clinic
Pay Rate: $50-55
Start Date: 8/9/2025
Assignment Type: Contract

 

 
Duties Include: 
  • Assessing patients' medical history and current health status. 
  • Verifying consent forms and ensuring patients are prepared for the procedure
  • Starting IV lines and administering medications as needed. 
  • Monitoring vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation). 
  • Assisting the physician with catheter insertion and other procedures. 
  • Administering medications as needed and monitoring patient response. 
  • Operating and troubleshooting equipment like physiological recorders and intra-aortic balloons. 
  • Monitoring patients for complications like bleeding or infection. 
  • Providing pain management and other necessary care. 
  • Educating patients and their families about post-procedure care, medications, and lifestyle changes. 
  • Maintaining a sterile and organized environment in the lab. 
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, technicians, and other nurses. 
  • Managing administrative tasks related to patient care. 
  • Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families. 
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education. 


Qualifications 
  • 2 years experiences
  • ACLS, BLS and RN License for state of TX active status
  • BSN
