Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as a Critical Care Registered Nurse specializing in Post-Anesthesia Care (PACU). This 13-week assignment in Fort Worth, TX offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic clinic setting. Utilize your skills in post-operative care, patient assessment, and pain management to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Pay Package:
$40 per Hour
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years current PACU experience in Phase 1 and Phase 2 settings
Proficiency in caring for patients post-general, uro, plastics, vascular, GYN, ortho, OMF, GI, and IR procedures
Continuous assessment of airway, breathing, vital signs, and consciousness levels
Administration of prescribed medications for pain relief and nausea prevention/treatment
Monitoring for complications such as hypotension, bradycardia, respiratory issues, or surgical site infections
Effective communication with patients and families regarding post-operative care and symptoms to monitor
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
1-2 years of relevant clinical experience in a PACU or critical care environment
Other Requirements:
Valid RN license in the state of Texas
BLS and ACLS certification
Ability to work 8-hour day shifts
Must have current certifications and meet facility-specific compliance standards
