Job Title: Respiratory Therapist – 13-Week Night Shifts
Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment’s dynamic team as a Respiratory Therapist for an immediate 13-week contract in New Orleans, LA. This vital role offers the opportunity to work in a hospital setting, providing expert respiratory care with a focus on NICU patients. If you are dedicated, experienced, and ready to make an impact, this position is your next career move.
Pay Package:
$27 per hour plus a $1,000 weekly bonus
Shift:
12-hour night shifts (overnight hours)
Required Skills:
Current and valid Respiratory Therapist Certification in Louisiana
Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong background in NICU respiratory care
Preferred Education and Experience:
Relevant clinical experience in hospital settings, particularly NICU environments
Proven ability to manage complex respiratory cases similar to neonatal intensive care
Other Requirements:
Must pass a criminal record check as per state law for employment eligibility
Travel stipends provided
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
