Job Title: Special Education Teacher — Contract Position
Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for an immediate contract opportunity in Vallejo, CA. This role is essential in providing high-quality education to Pre-K and Kindergarten students requiring specialized care. Pay Package:
$70 per hour, with 8-hour workdays, offering a competitive hourly rate for qualified professionals.
Required Skills:
CA ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) license is mandatory
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher
Proven ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and families
Familiarity with Pre K and Kindergarten curricula and developmental needs
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
Completion of a relevant degree in Special Education or a related field
Previous experience working with early childhood special education populations
Other Requirements:
Must pass state-mandated criminal record check as per employment law
This position requires working 8-hour shifts during standard school hours
