Special Education Teacher (2026–2027 School Year)
Location: Kenosha, WI Start Date: August 24, 2026 End Date: June 4, 2027 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 37.5 Hours per Week Elementary campuses have half-day Fridays for students; contractors will work a full day.
Position Overview
Medical Edge Recruitment is actively hiring 15 Special Education Teachers for a large public school district in Kenosha, Wisconsin for the 2026–2027 academic year. We are scheduling interviews next week and are seeking licensed Special Education professionals who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide specialized instruction based on students' academic and behavioral needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, therapists, and families
Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Qualifications
Required:
Active Special Education Teacher License
Licensure must be verifiable through the state's DPI website
Certification in one of the following:
Early Childhood–Middle Childhood
Middle Childhood–Early Adolescence
Assignment Details
Pay Rate: Up to $50/hour
Contract Dates: August 24, 2026 – June 4, 2027
Weekly Hours: 37.5
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Multiple openings available across the district
Caseload and classroom assignments will vary by campus (details to be provided)
